Application

Our customer manufactures a complete range of forks for forklifts. There are four production lines and each one requires a marking station. On the forks will be engraved an alphanumeric code. The operator scans a barcode that corresponds to the work order number and to the product's reference. The marking file selection is automatic.

Engraving solution

The installed machine is an i113d integrated marking head. The part's material is made of very hard steel (between 32 and 50 HRc) and requires a powerful machine to sufficiently deform the surface and obtain a legible and long lasting mark. 

Result

The tracking of each fork is carried out for a production quality control and also to allow the final customer of forklift trucks such as JCB, Caterpillar... to have a product reference.
