Laser marking on cylinder heads

Customer's need

The customer would to integrate a marking workstation on a production line. It is a line that produces cylinder heads made of cast aluminum for the automobile sector. The entire system will be managed by the customer's line controller. In addition to the marking, the station will incorporate a reading module to ensure the readability of the marked code.

Advantages/ Summary

The system consists of an i103 LG laser integrated in a frame with a guillotine door. The vision system will be integrated directly over the laser head to allow the checking of the data matrix code immediately after it has been marked

Machine cycle: closing door + reading + marking + reading + door opening. Marking cycle 27 s
