Customer's need

The company requested to mark cylindrical parts with a diameter up to 100mm. The system has to have flexible conversion to a standard laser station for other markings. The marking has to be “superficial” in order to not damage the coat treatment.  
 

Advantages/ Summary

A retractable D-axis was integrated to the standard L-Box. It allows marking cylindrical parts and various other parts. 

 

The D-axis allows marking on perimeter with straight characters.
