Marking of cable ties

Customer's need

The customer would like to mark alphanumeric codes on different colour cable ties. The marking rate has to be relatively important. The quality of the marking, particularly the contrast is a determining factor to enable a human review of the code. 

Advantages/ Summary

The system is composed of an i83 marking head, and a carbon ribbon system. This produces a black embossed marking easily read by the operator.

Machine cycle: The operator selects the marking file and places 5 cable ties on the table. He moves the table towards the marking zone and launches the marking cycle. The ribbon moves progressively when marking. Once completed, the operator removes the table and collects the batch of marked cable ties.
